Seasons change.
Seasons change, and I see are the leaves from yesterday
Tomorrow may come, but I’m still waiting for another day
Though I may see, these cold days turning to spring
Brings rebirth, new days and dawning wind
Takes a blue curtain, drives through the storm
In effortless dance, still waiting for morn
Seasons change, tomorrow is a brand new story
Spring is come, still hung up on autumn’s glory
Signs new lease, another new home set upon the earth
Tightens the money-strings, silence on fresher mirth
White is snow, melting pristine to show the dirt
Footsteps ring, frost comes the ancient curse
Seasons change, tensions do pull me thither
Shrouds of mist, to score the far blue yonder
Isn’t it ironic? When all the time you stopped and stared?
Tables turn gently, now in your place he stands
Taking your reflection, turning crystal reflects the light
Needs the dawn, shines not in empty night
Seasons change, winter to spring and summer
This my hand, holds on the autumn’s daughter
What romance? Do these newer seeds now spring?
Garlands new, soon to be browned again
Take this sweet moment, caught in the cusp of the earth
Pauses so sweetly, please bring not new rebirth
Seasons change. Seasons change.
