Stupid! Damn! Modem!

I’m partly convinced my modem is out to get me. It randomly disconnects or restarts itself whenever I am (1) gaming online, (2) about to game online, (3) when I want to use the internet, (4) when a lot of MSN chat windows are open, and (5) when something’s happening online that I want to keep on top of (like say an eBay bid).

On top of that, it refuses to reconnect to the net until (1) whoever I was talking to is gone, (2) right after irritated friends start gaming without me, (3) when I’ve been outbid on eBay in the closing seconds.

The modem also adamantly refuses to behave whenever I restart it, but somehow whenever my dad restarts it, it works beautifully.

I think I need a new modem, wouldn’t you agree?
